Thunderstorm

The sky darkened over the city. The atmosphere heavy, anticipation looming like a beast preparing to strike. Black clouds rolling in as if charging to battle across the plains of Castille. The wind picked up, blowing at its captives, taunting them, daring all to presence the coming wrath.

Then, with thunderous noise and brilliant lightning, the hail poured forth, battering everything mercilessly with vehemence.

In the darkness it seemed that there would be no more sun, blue skies forever banished, bleakness forever. Such was the awe of the storm.
