First blog entry

Wow. So I finally got my act together and managed to bring together a whole blog for Khaitu.com.

 This project, which started about a month ago was the child of my curiosity and the challenge to design and create something as ubiquitous as a blog.

Why a blog? Good question. Perhaps, similar to everyone else who maintains a blog out there, I feel I have something to share with the world. All those ideas floating around my mind on those lazy afternoon bus journeys from work felt they needed an outlet. A perfect excuse for the challenge. And the inspiration? A new taste for design and visual imagery. This is probably a by-product of my current job and is only possible thanks to the amount of knowlege I have piled up in my brain since I started work.

For the technical minded: this page has been implemented in XHTML, CSS2 and Javascript, with PHP and MySQL as the back-end. A neat knit of different technologies and Standards.

As for content: general musings, ramblings, perhaps rants on aspects of the world which apply to my life. I feel it will be mainly my view on the world, with a few technical entries thrown in.
