Olives

Olives are small, round and green. They don't bite, they don't shout and they never cry. By this account, olives are rather agreeable entities.

Olives grow on trees, ripen and fall to the ground. But all is not so sweet as it may seem for inside an olive, hides a single stone. It lurks there in the darkness of the olive, waiting, listening.

An olive is most happy when it is ground to a pulp and the pure scented oil contained within is released - ancient secret to eternal life.
